A cream paper moth that is in Episode 4's lesson from the first seconds to the last frame: its shadow crosses the brass clock, it finds every lamp, and on the last picture frame it lands on Black's flag; nobody names it, and it is never explained.
Episode 4 never says what the moth is. It is a shadow over the clock's White dial before anything else moves, wings on the lamp shade in the quiet minute, a crossing in the doorway light while the lamp is off, a circle round the lamp at the park, a rest on the pendant lamp's rim when we finally see the real room, and the last thing that moves: it lands on Black's flag one frame before the film ends. It is folded the same way as Episode 3's sound helper, in the same cream paper (The moth). It has its own sheet because it lives in a different world (a room and a boy's imagination, not a terminal) and because whether it is the same moth is deliberately open.
