Open questions

What nobody has decided yet, on purpose or not, and the answers on the table. A question marked Aaron settles it decides the series' story rather than one episode's.

How a question is answered

Each [open] line is a question. The lines right under it, up to the next [open], are its candidate answers: [idea] = proposed, not adopted; [running] = the answer a crew is currently building on (still not Aaron's); [steel] = the part Aaron has already decided. "(Aaron)" marks a question that needs Aaron: it decides the series' story, not one episode's. Who proposed an answer is in its braces: {series gather} is the series lore crew, {eggs sweep} the cross-episode egg sweep, {E3 rev2 plan} Episode 3's Revision 2 crew, {lore crew 2026-10-22} this merge. Candidate answers are not indented (the lore tool reads an indented line as part of the line above). When a question is answered, write the answer on the entity it belongs to with its new tier, and move the question to Settled. Gathered 2026-10-22 from every [open] line in the six gather files, Revision 2's notes and its plan v1.

  • RunningThree verified eggs already lean after: Teo's Rev C set as a download (Rev C was issued on Episode 2's night), RULES.md's Rev B line, the Homestead's archived page. {eggs sweep; E3-EGG-02, 05, 06} edit

  • OpenThe registry has two versions: main (60 rows, Episodes 2 and 3) and origin/episode-4-chess (84 rows, adding E4-EGG-01 to 23 and HIDDEN-03); the local main checkout was stale (927b3a8, Episode 2 only). {git, 2026-10-22} on Egg atlas edit
  • OpenHIDDEN-02's status: the registry on main says "the page 404s until Aaron merges the blog branch"; Episode 3's summary says it went live 2026-10-20 14:28, and the blog's main holds it. The row is stale. {EGG_REGISTRY HIDDEN-02; blog main} on Egg atlas edit

  • OpenRevision 2's plan puts Episode 3 about three years after Episode 2; Episode 4's world bible put it "a few months" before Episode 4 (Y+62-63); Episode 3's own notes said "a few years after Episode 2". {REVISION_2_PLAN §1; E4 MASTER_TREATMENT §1; E3 notes} on Egg atlas edit

Every line on this page is drawn from the lore: 153 sheets and 8,338 lines of Markdown in Aaron's series repo, each with exactly one tier. Change a line there and run lore.py publish, and every page of this course follows (this copy: built 23 October 2026 from 3ab0458).

Sources are in braces: {E2 25:20} is Episode 2 at 25:20, {E4 S17} a scene, {Aaron 2026-10-22} a decision of Aaron's. “edit” opens the line in the series repo, which is private: it works for Aaron and the crews; the sources are everyone's. Everything that isn't steel is free to change.
