The hum

Alsoher room's life-support hum; the fans; the scrubber; the laptop fan; the fridge hum

The life-support hum under every scene in Noor's room, noticed only when it stops at 21:05 and when the fans come back after Rev B; it returns as Episode 3's laptop fan, stopping dead at 20:00.000, and as a fridge humming on A in two dark kitchens.

Nobody in Episode 2 mentions the hum until it is gone. It is the scrubber keeping Noor alive, pitched on the score's tonic, sagging when the light steps down and dropping a semitone under the fleet's load; at 21:05, when her power is isolated, it simply stops. After Rev B the fans spin up and someone in the chat types "the fans. you can hear the fans". Episode 3 does the same with a laptop fan whose pitch follows the CPU, dead at the 20:00 turn and back for the epilogue; its end black has a fridge humming on A, and so does Episode 4's kitchen. A hum is a household's life support.
