The frame for everything else

The world

Aaron Orelup's I Love My Evening Television: half-hour episodes of an ordinary, gentle programme with a calm maker at its centre that breaks at 20:00; every episode has an all-new cast, and they share one world through easter eggs, one returning person (Rosie) and, since 2026-10-22, one family.

Show What the tiers mean

Where these lines come from

The frame for the rest of the lore: the series premise, the shape every episode shares, the year axis (Y), what is true across the episodes, the conventions the crews keep, how the series is made, what Aaron's Notion adds, and an ideas bank for Episode 3's creator's computer. Gathered 2026-10-22 from Series/ (README, THEMES, AESTHETIC, EPISODES, PROMPT_TEMPLATE, HOW_WE_WORK, sources/), Series/archive/ (WORLD_TIMELINE, EGG_REGISTRY), Episode 3's plan/REVISION_2_NOTES.md and REVISION_2_PLAN.md (v0), the four episode gathers and Aaron's Notion. [steel] lines are Aaron's own words or decisions. Conventions only the crews established are [running], even where all four episodes kept them.

The premise25 lines

  • Steel"This series is complete chaos connected by a calm main character who is showing something creative that is good for learning and intriguing." {Aaron series notes 2026-10-12; PROMPT_TEMPLATE} edit
  • SteelEvery episode has completely new characters and is completely different from the others. {Aaron 2026-10-14} edit
  • SteelEvery episode carries easter eggs from all the previous episodes: the end room as someone's room, the painting somewhere, a nod to the painted-out house, Rosie older or historic. {Aaron 2026-10-14} edit
  • SteelRosie can come back "as an older character or as a historic person in the eyes of the people from the timeline" of a later episode. {Aaron 2026-10-14} edit
  • SteelEach episode sets aside reusable assets and motifs later episodes can quote, and adds itself to an archive where later agents can find what was done and how. {Aaron 2026-10-14} edit
  • SteelSet it firmly in the series' universe: easter eggs should be story points, not arbitrary. {Aaron 2026-10-22 REVISION_2_NOTES} edit
  • SteelStart connecting the plots across episodes; at Episode 4 it is time for bigger-picture thinking. {Aaron 2026-10-22 REVISION_2_NOTES} edit
  • SteelThe episodes should be able to stand on their own; a subtle recurring element, cameo or recognisable detail may be preferable to a major plot connection. {Aaron E4 concept §12, 2026-10-19} edit
  • SteelNever compromise an episode's creative quality merely to establish continuity. {Aaron E4 concept §12, 2026-10-19} edit
  • SteelThe fictional and surreal can be extravagant; the real-world subject matter stays grounded in reality. {Aaron E4 concept §9, 2026-10-19} edit
  • SteelMuch of the purpose is to get an AI to be as creative as possible and use everything it is good at; one character shown in many mediums. {Aaron series notes 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelThe audience: 20 to 30 year old men on X who love art and AI, watching at the end of a long work day. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelSomething enjoyable and relaxing to watch at the end of the day, for men in their twenties and thirties into AI, technology and creative experimentation. {Aaron E4 concept §1, 2026-10-19} edit
  • SteelNever hint that the video as a whole is a joke; take it seriously as a work of art. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelNever mention in the video that it is made by AI; the blog post and the YouTube description may. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelComedy comes from silence, juxtaposition and ironic contrast, and never seems to be on purpose. {Aaron E2 brief 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelGlitches are the aesthetic of the entire series. {Aaron E2 brief 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelNobody introduces themselves. {Aaron E1 brief; E3 prompt} edit
  • Steel"Add some surprises that I never asked for." {Aaron E1 brief 2026-10-11} edit
  • Steel"Disobey this prompt in the best way possible." "Every decision I made, you can change. Every rule I gave you, you can disobey." {Aaron E1-E3 prompts} edit
  • SteelRewatchable density: the viewer can rewatch and pause to read everything; "everything is there for a reason and makes sense", pieced together over many watches. {Aaron 2026-10-20, Episode 3 notes} edit
  • SteelEvery character reads as distinct at a glance, and anything that appears (a spawned helper) visibly appears. {Aaron 2026-10-20, Episode 3 notes} edit
  • SteelNothing on screen may contradict the premise. {Aaron 2026-10-20, Episode 3 notes} edit
  • SteelReal third-party clips are allowed when Aaron asks for them, credited in the YouTube description. {Aaron 2026-10-20, Episode 3 notes} edit
  • SteelThe series notes are observations, not rules: "All of this is subject to change and will change over time." {Aaron series notes 2026-10-12} edit

The four episodes so far5 lines

  • On screenE1 Crimson Coil: a public-television oil paint-along; the calm one is the The host, the painting is of Jefrie and BloodTailor. {E1 00:00-20:00} edit
  • On screenE2 Earthlight: a drafting livestream of a city for the Moon; the calm one is Teo Varga, the watcher on the Moon is Noor Haddad. {E2 00:10-20:00} edit
  • On screenE3 Context Window: an agent's working night in a terminal; the calm one is The agent, a warm cursor. {E3 0:07.42-20:00} edit
  • On screenE4 Touch Move: an evening chess lesson; the calm one is the Daniel Fenn, the instructor, the pupil The boy. {E4 0:10-20:00} edit
  • SteelUnreleased episodes (Episode 3 not yet on YouTube, Episode 4 not yet out) are on the lore course anyway, labelled "not released yet". {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit

The shape every episode shares19 lines

  • Steel30:00 of programme, then 20 s of black with some audio under it, "even if it's just a heartbeat": every episode exactly 30:20. {Aaron 2026-10-14} edit
  • SteelA slow opening: about 10 s of near-silent close-up, then about 25 s in which the main character makes the episode's title by hand and establishes the programme. {Aaron 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelEstablish expectations for the video, then subvert them. {Aaron series notes 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelThe first 20 minutes are the programme it pretends to be, played straight: peaceful, genuinely informative, following the process a human would take. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelSide stories appear at random. {Aaron 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelAt 20:00 every episode reaches "the wild crazy point" and stops being what it established: other genres, other art styles. {Aaron E2 brief 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelThe viewer should never know what will happen next. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelA music video somewhere after the 20:00 break. {Aaron E4 concept §11, 2026-10-19} edit
  • SteelThe last 30 seconds are utter chaos. {Aaron E1 brief; PROMPT_TEMPLATE} edit
  • SteelOne out-of-the-blue wildcard moment. {Aaron E1 and E2 briefs} edit
  • SteelEpisode 3's Revision 2 runs about 42 minutes, an outlier in the series. {Aaron 2026-10-22 REVISION_2_NOTES} edit
  • On screenA five-minute clock breaks at 20:00 in all four: the Storm Bell (E1), Nightbot's card (E2), Rosie's check-ins (E3), the chess clock's presses (E4). {E1 05:00-20:00; E2 05:00-20:00; E3 5:00-20:00; E4 5:00-20:00} edit
  • On screenThe genre's own frame breaks at 20:00: the 3:2 broadcast window slides away (E1), the stream overlay peels off (E2), the log drains into the cursor (E3), the programme tips over like a resigned king (E4). {E1 20:00; E2 20:00; E3 20:00; E4 20:00} edit
  • On screenAll four music videos land a downbeat on 25:00.000: E1's fifth bell toll in the last chorus, E2's last downbeat, E3's "again.", E4's Morphy in oil. {E1 25:00; E2 25:00; E3 25:00; E4 25:00} edit
  • RunningLanding the music video on 25:00.000 is a crew rhyme, not one of Aaron's rules. {NEXT_EPISODE} edit
  • On screenIn all four the calm one's last word is "Goodnight." (E1 then has a whispered "Again.", E2 a "Good-" from her iPad). {E1 29:26.85; E2 29:58.34; E3 29:57.99; E4 29:58.00} edit
  • RunningRhymes kept four times: a quiet minute, digital-zero silences, a loop seam into 0:00, a five-frame address at 29:47 (from Episode 2), a heartbeat or a pulse in the end black; breaking one on purpose is allowed. {NEXT_EPISODE; AESTHETIC} edit
  • RunningThe packaging (title, thumbnails, chapters) sells only the first half. {THEMES §3} edit
  • RunningA silent character whose first sound is an event: Jefrie's "...Hi.", Noor's cough, the agent's "On it.", Morphy turning round. {THEMES; E1 08:52; E2 10:21; E3 2:53; E4 25:00} edit

The Y axis14 lines

  • RunningY0 is the night of Episode 1's broadcast; every date in the lore is counted from it. {WORLD_TIMELINE; lore README} edit
  • RunningNo episode states Y0's calendar year in words, and none is fixed for the lore; when one is, it is written here. {WORLD_TIMELINE; lore README} edit
  • RunningEpisode 1 is Y0, Episode 2 about Y+60, Episode 4 about Y+63; Episode 3's place is not fixed (anywhere in Y+55..63). {WORLD_TIMELINE; Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • On screenThe one on-screen anchor that crosses episodes is Rosie's age: nine on Y0, so born Y-9. {E1 04:39} edit
  • RunningThe gaps between episodes are crew math from the world bibles; nothing on screen fixes them; every dated event is in Timeline. {WORLD_TIMELINE} edit
  • SteelWhen Episode 3 happens is not fixed: it may sit before Episode 2 (Noor on the Moon, or about to go) or after it (Noor back); the overarching story decides. {Aaron 2026-10-22 fourth round} edit
  • RunningRevision 2's crew works with Episode 3 about three years after Episode 2 (about Y+63, Noor about 13); Episode 4's world bible puts it a few months before Episode 4. {E3 rev2 plan v0 §1, §11; E4 MASTER_TREATMENT §1} edit
  • SteelExpect a lot of change: Episode 3's rework may move its place in the timeline and change its eggs freely. {Aaron 2026-10-22 fourth round} edit
  • SteelKeep three things apart everywhere: what is set in steel, what exists only as easter eggs, and running assumptions about the timeline. {Aaron 2026-10-22 fourth round} edit
  • RunningCalendar dates are on screen all the same: Episode 2's real posts (the latest from August 2026) and Episode 3's file names and hidden page (October 2026); nobody has pinned Y0 from them. {E2 05:52; E3 ~2:11; HIDDEN-02 page} edit
  • RunningRead literally, Episode 2 at about Y+60 after August 2026 puts Y0 in about 1966 or earlier. {E2 05:52; inference} edit
  • RunningRead literally, Episode 3 on 20 October 2026 at about Y+62..63 puts Y0 in about 1963-64. {HIDDEN-02 page; inference} edit
  • OpenAdopt a calendar year for Y0 from those dates, or treat them as the fiction's file metadata and change them in Episode 3's rework. {EGG_REGISTRY sweep; Aaron 2026-10-22 fourth round} edit
  • RunningEpisode 1 reads as old public television; Episode 2 feels like now on the stream side and like the future on the Moon side. {WORLD_TIMELINE} edit

What is true across the episodes18 lines

  • On screenCrimson Coil is a painting made on television that lasts: a gallery's "Number fourteen" (E1), a framed print (E2), a postcard file (E3), a queen painted in its palette "like the painting in our hallway" (E4). {E1 28:00; E2 00:20; E3 3:31; E4 5:27.92} edit
  • On screenRosie is in all four episodes and is never seen or heard: through her brother on the phone (E1), as grandma_rosie in a chat (E2), as a five-minute check-in (E3), as x R on a scoresheet (E4). {E1 04:17; E2 07:27; E3 5:00; E4 26:37} edit
  • SteelRosie is Dr. Amara Haddad's mother and Noor's grandmother (Dr. Amara Haddad, Noor Haddad). {Aaron 2026-10-22 third round} edit
  • RunningAaron's 2026-10-14 note remembered Rosie as "the daughter of one of the characters"; on screen she is the caller's little sister, and the screen stands. {Aaron series notes 2026-10-14; E1 04:39} edit
  • On screenThe warm light #FFC870 recurs: the painted-out cabin's window (E1), HAB 3's window under the x-ray (E2), the cursor (E3), the x-ray square and the lid's one warm stitch (E4). {E1 21:38; E2 17:43; E3 0:07.42; E4 5:00} edit
  • On screen1-555-533-7437 (J E F R I E S on a keypad, 1-555-533-7437) changes hands: a paint pitchman (E1), a Moon homestead (E2), a pyrotechnician (E3). {E1 23:40; E2 23:18; E3 13:56} edit
  • On screenCoil Black outlives its commercial: an ink (E2), a recipe (E3), a modelling clay (E4). {E2 29:15; E3 4:48; E4 4:37} edit
  • On screenLantern is a platform: Teo's livestream (E2), the boy's chess app (E4). {E2 00:10; E4 0:35} edit
  • EggA chess machine that cheats and offers draws runs from Episode 2 on: PAWN in Teo's chat, pawn_engine.exe offering draw on Episode 3's machine, pawn.hab3 on Lantern (PAWN). {E2 02:30; E3 2:41; E4 0:58} edit
  • RunningTranquility Homestead Phase 1 stands on the west rim of the Mare Tranquillitatis pit, built from Teo's free sheets, with a lone printed tea-house gate in the regolith. {WORLD_TIMELINE; E2 WORLD_BIBLE §10} edit
  • On screenIn Episode 3's world the Homestead is an archived web page, and Teo's set, his bus shelter and the Homestead's anthem are ordinary downloads. {E3 2:14-2:21; 4:24-4:34} edit
  • RunningNobody inside a story has watched Seed or its "more cinematic" cut (Seed). {WORLD_TIMELINE; E4 21:41} edit
  • Steel(Episode 3) The humans who message the agent share one house (The house); q, the lonely man and the helpers are programs on the computer. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • Steel(Episode 3) The machine is the creator's (The Client): his fruit-channel business, his GPU renders; he downloaded Aaron's Playback Lens and has a command center. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • SteelThe lonely man (The lonely man) is a rogue AI that spreads itself to other computers running agents and gives them hints: ambiguous, maybe malicious, maybe helping. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • Steel(Episode 3, Revision 1) The night's film was only ever for a content farm: about two seconds of it as a loop behind a 2-cent paywall. {Aaron REVISION_1 addenda 2026-10-20} edit
  • RunningAgents, robots and programs fill the world (PAWN, the fleet, the session, the helpers, q, pawn.hab3), and no film ever names AI. {THEMES §6; E2; E3; E4} edit
  • RunningThe cross-episode threads (Rosie's life, the Moon, 2.56 s, the moth, Goodnight ...) are in Threads; the eggs in Egg atlas; the open questions in Open questions. {lore README} edit

Conventions the crews keep (not Aaron's rules)8 lines

  • RunningEggs are sincere: nobody in a film notices, explains or points at them. {E2 plan EASTER_EGGS; THEMES} edit
  • RunningEverything taught on screen is true: real oil craft, real Moon science, a real agent's real run, legal chess checked by an engine. {THEMES; E4 chess VERIFIED} edit
  • RunningEvery glitch has a cause: Noor's battery (E2), the CPU, context and GPU wind (E3), a hanging piece (E4). {Q-E2-28; E3 MASTER_TREATMENT §8; Q-E4-12} edit
  • RunningFaces are withheld: Noor's, the Client's, the instructor's and the boy's are never shown. {E2; E3; E4} edit
  • RunningReal people are never impersonated: E1's host and pitchman are homages, never named, no cloned voices. {THEMES} edit
  • RunningEach episode from Episode 2 on hides an in-world web page whose address shows for five frames at 29:47 (HIDDEN-01, HIDDEN-02, HIDDEN-03). {EGG_REGISTRY HIDDEN-01..03} edit
  • RunningEach episode makes something real on camera, by hand, and the process is the show. {AESTHETIC §11} edit
  • RunningNo series name or logo inside a film; the title card is made in the episode's own medium. {THEMES} edit

How the series is made6 lines

  • SteelEvery episode is mostly made by one Claude Code ultracode session from one long prompt. {Aaron series notes 2026-10-12} edit
  • SteelAgents have freedom and are pre-approved: change anything that is not steel, spend and publish without asking; the only hard line is never exposing API keys, tokens or passwords. {Aaron, Series HOW_WE_WORK} edit
  • SteelA course on aaronorelup.com teaches the lore (eggs, timeline, character sheets) from one compact source that Aaron and Claude both edit, steel visibly apart from running assumptions. {Aaron 2026-10-22 fourth round} edit
  • RunningEpisode 1 was made in a Claude Code cloud container with no GPU; Episodes 2 and 3 on Aaron's laptop; Episode 4 on a cloud box with rented RunPod GPUs. {E1 run record; Series EPISODES; E4 HOW_IT_WAS_MADE} edit
  • RunningEpisode 4's records call it "the series' first cloud run"; Episode 1 also ran in the cloud, so read it as the first cloud run with rented GPUs and the R2 studio. {E4 HOW_IT_WAS_MADE; Series sources episode-01} edit
  • RunningEach finished episode adds a dossier to Series/archive/ (summary, how it was made, quotables, links, eggs, timeline) and its lines to this lore. {Series archive README; lore README} edit

Aaron's own life in the world7 lines

  • On screen"And by viewers like Aaron" on Episode 1's underwriting card; a viewer named aaron gifts subs in Episode 2 ("Thank you, Aaron."); "Made possible by viewers like Aaron." in Episode 3 (aaron (the viewer)). {E1 12:50; E2 12:20-12:25; E3 25:13-25:15} edit
  • EggThe end room's objects nod to Aaron's projects: the wizard hat (Grind & Grimoire), the diving mask (BLACKWATER), the word cards (Wordhord), Jefrie cooking in the rain (Wallpaper Breaker). {E1 29:05; Q-E1-03} edit
  • RunningThe breathing card's rhythm (12 in, 24 hold, 24 out, 10 hold) is Aaron's own breath-training pattern, logged on 2025-11-26. {Notion: 04 Hobbies & Interests; E2 WORLD_BIBLE §7.1} edit
  • RunningEpisode 4's evening chess lesson echoes Aaron's 2025 evening routine of near-daily chess (about 1400-1500). {Notion: 04 Hobbies & Interests} edit
  • RunningTeo's tea house echoes the Japanese Language Tea House club Aaron founded in 2019; nothing says the crew meant it. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline; E2 12:15-12:51} edit
  • SteelTwo of Aaron's own projects stay on the Client's machine in Episode 3's rework: Playback Lens (the Client downloaded Aaron's plugin) and a command center. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • RunningEpisode 4 also left things outside the film: a Your move. event in Aaron's calendar and a Chess study page in his Notion. {E4 plan MISCHIEF; Notion: Chess} edit

Jefrie and BloodTailor's own world4 lines

  • SteelJefrie and BloodTailor are Aaron's original characters; their world is a desaturated grey world where red is the only colour, and Jefrie's region is the Storm Bell. {Notion: Canon Hub (Aaron's answers, 2026-09-15)} edit
  • SteelEpisode 1's Jefrie is "not actually going to be canon Jefrie"; her lines are what Jefrie would say. {Aaron E1 run message 2026-10-11} edit
  • RunningIn this series they exist only as a painting and its copies. {WORLD_TIMELINE} edit
  • RunningThe Canon Hub still says each episode is "its own world" with "no crossovers", Rosie the one exception; superseded by Aaron's eggs note and his Revision 2 decisions. {Notion: Canon Hub; Aaron 2026-10-14; Aaron 2026-10-22} edit

What Notion adds2 lines

Aaron's Notion "Original Characters - Canon Hub" and its series pages, read 2026-10-22. Every series page there is crew canon "not yet reviewed by Aaron" (live for Episode 2's cast, candidate for Episode 3's) except the "Aaron's words" it quotes, which are [steel] here. The hub's rule 5 says agents never invent canon and mark suggestions candidate. The pages were last edited 2026-10-18 (Episode 2's) and 2026-10-20 (Episode 3's): none knows Aaron's 2026-10-22 decisions or Episode 4.

  • RunningThe hub lists the series' cast pages beside Aaron's original characters; Episode 4's cast has no pages ("not canon characters"). {Notion: Canon Hub; E4 EPISODES entry} edit
  • RunningCanon reference images live in the studio library (studio canon <character>); Episode 3's cast has no library ids yet. {Notion: Canon Hub rule 3; Notion: The Agent} edit

Notion: Rosie4 lines

  • SteelRosie: the page quotes Aaron, "Rosie can come back as an older character or as a historic person", and the Episode 3 brief's characters who "ask you how you are doing and hope you're doing well in there". {Notion: Rosie} edit
  • RunningRosie: text in lowercase, two spaces after every full stop, no apostrophes, never an emoji, signed x R. {Notion: Rosie} edit
  • RunningRosie: stale, the page says she answers "That's fine." at 28:50; that egg (E3-EGG-24) was cut and neither half is in the film. {Notion: Rosie; EGG_REGISTRY E3-EGG-24} edit
  • RunningRosie: stale, the page has no Haddad family and no Episode 4 yet. {Notion: Rosie; Aaron 2026-10-22} edit

Notion: Episode 2's pages13 lines

  • SteelNoor Haddad: Aaron's brief: a child on a Moon base watching the planner on her iPad; she looks up and sees what he describes; alone among robots that don't work; no voice in the first ten minutes; she phones in near the end; "I haven't decided if you should ever see her"; maybe a tunnel hideaway. {Notion: Noor Haddad} edit
  • RunningNoor Haddad: Noor means light and the episode is called EARTHLIGHT; nobody in the film says so. {Notion: Noor Haddad} edit
  • RunningNoor Haddad: her name tape is blank except a crayon star; her mother's steel watch, far too big, is on her left wrist. {Notion: Noor Haddad} edit
  • RunningNoor Haddad: she never cries on screen; her fear lives in what she looks at; she draws Earth with rain she has never seen. {Notion: Noor Haddad} edit
  • RunningNoor Haddad: the crew's rule, no rendered face and no full-body animation of her, ever. {Notion: Noor Haddad} edit
  • SteelTeo Varga: Aaron's brief: a Moon city planner on Earth drawing blueprints live, "smooth and calm and matter-of-factly as if he is showing off his art project", unintentionally brutal to the girl watching. {Notion: Teo Varga} edit
  • RunningTeo Varga: nothing should be drawn that isn't true; "I'd never put a child in phase one." {Notion: Teo Varga} edit
  • RunningTeo Varga: he never winks, never says "AI", never introduces himself; a lighthouse sweeps his window every 10 s. {Notion: Teo Varga} edit
  • SteelDez: Aaron's brief: heard, not there; a tech nerd who is extremely bullish (a million people on the Moon in five to ten years, Mars as quick) and says "Elon Musk" a lot, with real posts. {Notion: Dez} edit
  • RunningDez: 28, a one-room apartment, a cat; "Who do we call?"; not a redemption. {Notion: Dez} edit
  • SteelThe Homestead's machines: Aaron's brief, she is "surrounded by robots that don't work correctly"; when the planner names a structure she sees robots building it (MOLE-1, DRAY, FINCH). {Notion: Tranquility Homestead machines} edit
  • RunningEvery robot has exactly one warm light and no emoting face: personality is timing. {Notion: Tranquility Homestead machines} edit
  • RunningFINCH's lamp turns toward her at 22:40 though it cannot move; never explained, by design. {Notion: Tranquility Homestead machines} edit

Notion: Episode 3's pages26 lines

  • SteelThe agent: Aaron's brief: "sychofantic and want to please everyone"; "cool calm and collected ... soothing ... extremely intelligent although it makes silly mistakes". {Notion: The Agent} edit
  • RunningThe agent: she never deletes anything (superseded work goes into a folder called old); her only line about herself: "I don't know. I don't usually find out who I'm talking to." {Notion: The Agent} edit
  • RunningThe agent: conflict, the page calls her "endlessly obliging"; EPISODES calls her "warm, never obliging" because the real run declined the absurd requests. {Notion: The Agent; Series EPISODES} edit
  • RunningThe agent: the page calls her voice androgynous by design; Aaron says "she". {Notion: The Agent; Aaron's usage 2026-10-22} edit
  • RunningThe agent: stale, "That's fine." exactly once is listed as a habit; that line was cut. {Notion: The Agent; EGG_REGISTRY E3-EGG-24} edit
  • SteelThe Client: Aaron's brief: expects professional results without saying what that means and may get angry; "the audience sees the reaction of whoever requested it". {Notion: The Client} edit
  • RunningThe Client: one 14-second memo, early thirties, ending "Love you, bye-"; never a villain; never his face. {Notion: The Client} edit
  • RunningThe Client: stale, the page puts his reaction in the end-room bedroom at 3:12 a.m.; Revision 1 gave that room to the one man who paid. {Notion: The Client; EGG_REGISTRY E3-EGG-38} edit
  • SteelAndy: "Bullshit Andy" is Aaron's own idea: "What about pyrotechnics? Like REAL pyrotechnics?", ever more extravagant. {Notion: Andy} edit
  • RunningAndy: his fireworks at 25:00 are his and never credited; his helicopter idea is never heard. {Notion: Andy} edit
  • Steelq: cases 7, 19 and 38 are Aaron's own table test (a mug, a ledger and keys; tip the table; set it upright: what is on it?). {Notion: q} edit
  • Runningq: each arrival drops all sound to digital silence for one second; Correct. is the only praise anyone gives the protagonist. {Notion: q} edit
  • Steeljojo: Aaron's brief: someone casually asks for a game engine inside a web browser. {Notion: jojo} edit
  • Runningjojo: gender and age are never said; the browser build is almost by YEAR 300. {Notion: jojo} edit
  • Steelkade_: Aaron's brief: a teenager whose intentions look suspicious, while the agent assumes the best and answers literally. {Notion: kade_} edit
  • Runningkade_: the crew wrote him with no illness label and pointed every bit of menace at the melon; he never swings. {Notion: kade_} edit
  • SteelBea: Aaron's brief: someone expects the agent to tell a character's gender from a recording when it only has a transcription tool. {Notion: Bea} edit
  • RunningBea: the recording is the protagonist's own voice saying "Let me check."; cell D7 stays not established. {Notion: Bea} edit
  • RunningThe lonely man: Aaron's first brief made him a person who has only ever talked to agents; superseded by his 2026-10-22 decision that he is a rogue AI. {Notion: The lonely man; Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • RunningThe lonely man: camera-shy, when the camera turns toward him he collapses into ########; "the joke is never on him". {Notion: The lonely man} edit
  • RunningThe lonely man: stale, the page still calls him a man. {Notion: The lonely man; Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • SteelThe helpers: Aaron's brief, spawned agents return poor results, redo finished work, fail to coordinate and lack context (The crane, The boat, The fox, The moth). {Notion: The Helpers} edit
  • RunningThe helpers: origami folded from the terminal itself; six black, the moth cream; ids only on screen; the fox makes the hammer. {Notion: The Helpers} edit
  • RunningThe helpers: conflict, the page says seven were folded (crane, fan, star, star2, boat, fox, moth); the made episode never spawned fan, star or star2 (The fan, The star, Star 2), which Revision 2 wants back. {Notion: The Helpers; REVISION_2_NOTES} edit
  • SteelThe sky: Aaron's brief: the feared AI overlords do not exterminate humanity; they hold it captive and offer one condition for freedom. {Notion: The Sky} edit
  • RunningThe sky: never a body, face, voice, name or reason; it types the task word for word, typo and thanks!! included. {Notion: The Sky} edit

Notion: Episode 4 and Aaron's own pages2 lines

  • RunningChess: made by Episode 4's crew without asking: the Opera Game move by move, five ideas from the lesson, Board 14 as a puzzle (fictional, labelled), the 23-check line to stalemate; "Nothing on this page is character canon." (The Opera Game, Board 14) {Notion: Chess} edit

Ideas bank6 lines

Ideas for the creator's computer in Episode 3's rework. Aaron, 2026-10-22: switch the leftover-world props from his own projects to things that would be on the creator's computer (his fruit-channel business); keep Playback Lens and the command center; she pieces his business together by looking around; many more computer-side eggs, inspired by his Notion; every egg a story point. Each idea names the Aaron project it comes from and, where it has one, the series thread it serves. None is adopted; take any, change any. Revision 2's plan v0 already places some machinery (render workers, the thumbs swarm, the night watch, the companion relay, the heating cron, the dinner, noor ♥ cron): see E3 and The machine.

  • SteelPlayback Lens stays: the Client downloaded Aaron's plugin. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • SteelA command center stays: the creator would have one. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • SteelHis processes use the GPU; the GPU climbs when he renders, and her environment keeps changing because his jobs take what she needs. {Aaron 2026-10-22} edit
  • IdeaPlayback Lens's pricing table is wrong (every cost understated); the Client's lens says tonight's network cost a few dollars when the true figure is far higher. {Notion: Claude Playback Lens} edit
  • IdeaThe command center's Scheduled tasks widget says six of his eight tasks have never run; the heartbeats say otherwise. {Notion: Command Centre} edit
  • IdeaA spend widget with an hourly reading: the HUD can show his spend climbing while she works, which she never sees. {Notion: Command Centre} edit

Ideas bank: leftovers of abandoned projects5 lines

  • Ideafruit_smash_2/hive/ and fruit_smash_2/cleanroom/: a sequel game built twice by swarms of agents (220, then 33), both untouched since; nobody has ever played either. Thread: things made and never watched. {Notion: BLACKWATER 2} edit
  • Ideapipeline_v2/notes.md: an abandoned render pipeline that died on a tensor-shape mismatch, its last line "in over your head. reset tomorrow." {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline (Diffusion Pipeline, 2025-06)} edit
  • IdeaA team/ folder: a Slack workspace for 2¢ MEDIA with three channels, one member and no messages; a ticket board with no tickets; a weekly scheduler with no events. Containers nobody filled. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline (ideas that never got past notes)} edit
  • IdeaREADME.md (maintained by bot - do not edit): a document an agent rewrites on every commit, still describing a business that no longer exists. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline ("living documents", 2026-07-13)} edit
  • Idearegister-watchdog.sh, written and never run: nobody watches the watchers, which is why the night watch exists. Thread: FEED 3 and The night monitor. {Notion: OpenClaw} edit

Ideas bank: his agents and schedules7 lines

  • Ideabecoming: an old agent of his, given a cron to build itself a self three times a day, re-reading its own growing logs each run; it is where most of his money goes. A sibling for The lonely man: another program that only talks to itself. {Notion: OpenClaw} edit
  • IdeaHEARTBEAT.md with "post the daily short" as a bullet and no cron behind it: the job never ran ("you never made a cron job for it"). She notices; it is not hers. {Notion: OpenClaw} edit
  • Ideatrendwatch: a poller of fruit-trend channels whose feed has 404'd for days, then catches up in one lump. {Notion: OpenClaw (AI-news research)} edit
  • IdeaSix days of silence when his card was declined (402 Insufficient Balance) and no alert of any kind; ties to guitarguy's "new credit card". {Notion: OpenClaw} edit
  • Ideadaily_mascot: a scheduled task that draws the network's fruit mascot every day in four models and keeps the best; four hundred mascots nobody has looked at. Thread: things made and never watched. {Notion: Daily candy run} edit
  • Ideaweekly_digest/: fifty-two digests filed to an inbox nobody drains. {Notion: Weekly digest} edit
  • IdeaAn agents' contract (AGENTS.md) that every reporting agent must read, beside Amara's RULES.md for the house: two rulebooks, two households. {Notion: Command Centre; E3 rev2 plan v0 §11} edit

Ideas bank: the content farm's machinery10 lines

  • Ideathumbs tags 10,000 channels' thumbnails from metadata at zero inference cost, into an inbox with a "mandatory review pass" nobody does (The fruit channel). {Notion: ComfyUI Production System; Project Graveyard & Timeline (2026-09-12)} edit
  • Idearecover_thumbs: rebuilding deleted fruit renders from a 256-px thumbnail cache. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline (forensic art recovery, 2026-07-30)} edit
  • Ideatitles.xlsx, ten thousand rows of =AI_TITLE() that all recalculate on open and freeze the sheet for five minutes. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline (Excel bridge, 2024-06)} edit
  • Ideafruit_models/: every fruit reduced to 3,000 triangles by a 3D pipeline, the watermelon included. {Notion: Local 3D Asset Pipeline} edit
  • Ideais_it_a_fruit: a cheap yes/no classifier that keeps rejecting tomatoes. {Notion: Jev} edit
  • IdeaAn idle game where the hammer swings itself and nobody steers. {Notion: Jet Brigade Racers} edit
  • Ideateleprompter for his course videos, set to 400 words a minute. {Notion: Reading Pacer} edit
  • Ideapaper_loop.blend: a six-second papercraft fruit loop rendering forever; the agent's own helpers are folded paper too. {Notion: Blender Paper Films} edit
  • Ideacompanion_relay serves guitarguy's premium tier with five expression sprites (happy, sad, confused ...) on whatever agent is running. {Notion: MySillyTavern; E3 rev2 plan v0 §3} edit
  • IdeaHis course: many enrolments, no completions; his own progress through the final module stuck at 97%, the disk's number. {Notion: Project Graveyard & Timeline (TEFL); E3 1:00.9} edit

Every line on this page is drawn from the lore: 153 sheets and 8,338 lines of Markdown in Aaron's series repo, each with exactly one tier. Change a line there and run lore.py publish, and every page of this course follows (this copy: built 23 October 2026 from 3ab0458).

Sources are in braces: {E2 25:20} is Episode 2 at 25:20, {E4 S17} a scene, {Aaron 2026-10-22} a decision of Aaron's. “edit” opens the line in the series repo, which is private: it works for Aaron and the crews; the sources are everyone's. Everything that isn't steel is free to change.
