AlsoDr. Haddad; HADDAD A - ECLSS; her mother; A.H. (E3 Revision 2 world)
Rosie's daughter and Noor's mother, the Moon base's life-support engineer, gone eleven days with the rovers on Episode 2's night; never seen or heard, only a badge, a name the machines still say, a dinner reminder and the rules she leaves behind.
Amara is the series' missing adult. In Episode 2 she is everything her daughter lives on: the badge that buys food and satisfies the robot, the watch on the wrist, the reminder at 18:00, the card that says how to breathe. Whether she comes back is the question Episode 2 leaves open on purpose (one red blink, 62 km away). Aaron set her family in steel; almost everything else about her is still to be decided, which makes her the best unplanted seed in the series.
