AlsoTPS; the Homestead; Phase 1; the base; TRANQUILITY HOMESTEAD, PHASE 1 · MARE TRANQUILLITATIS
The venture that built a Moon base on the rim of the Mare Tranquillitatis pit from Teo's free drawings, sold it with FAMILIES WELCOME and an anthem, counted the one child as PERSONAL EFFECTS, failed, and left an automated fleet that builds whatever Teo issues; by Episode 3 an archived web page.
The Homestead never appears as people. It is an ad (a pastel brochure, a chrome emblem, a café in the rain, a song), a hotline, fine print too fast to read, a voice that greets Noor by her mother's name, and a fleet of robots that do not work properly and obey the latest drawing on a stranger's stream. Its terms, legible only when paused, explain Episode 2's whole night: dependants travel as PERSONAL EFFECTS, a module with nobody on the roster is STORAGE and may be taken apart without notice, and the fleet builds to the latest issued revision. In Episode 3 its greenhouse is an archived page in a list of search results nobody opens.
Ages at each episode come from the birth year and the episode's place on the axis, and are only as sure as the weaker of the two (their mark says which). Empty decades are drawn short, at the break marks. Tranquility Homestead on the whole timeline →
