MOLE-1

E2

Alsothe digger; the E-02 digger (it works the berm, sheet E-02)

A drum digger that wakes in the same frame as Teo's first ISSUED stamp, proving to Noor (and us) that whatever he stamps gets built; after Rev B it is the one robot given a job for her, and it digs a drift down to meet her tunnel.

MOLE-1 is the episode's reveal. At 03:31 Teo stamps Sheet 2 on Earth, the picture pulls back out of his stream onto a cracked iPad in a child's taped hands, and outside her window a dark digger's beacon blinks on and its drums turn, in silence, on the stamp's frame. From then on the viewer knows the rule. At the end Teo's Rev B puts the whole fleet to cold sleep, "EXCEPT MOLE-1": it is sent to dig her deeper.
